Village Green Senior Apartments is a joint venture with Martha and Mary Lutheran Services (project sponsor) and Shelter Resources, Inc. (developer). This 35-unit senior independent-living property in Kitsap County/Kingston includes large balconies and patios with beautiful views of the Puget Sound, tennis courts, various community rooms and lounges, and close proximity to area shopping, entertainment and transportation. Village Green is also part of a community initiative’s long-term plan to create a community center on the site, along with a regional library, commercial kitchens, meeting spaces, Boys and Girls Club, and a place for cultural events. SRI was very pleased for this project to be the catalyst for the larger, community-based master plan.
